ABOUT NATURALLY NEPAL

Located between India and Tibet (Autonomous Region of Tibet, P.R. China), Nepal is best known as the home of Mount Everest. The altitude of the Himalayan Region ranges between 4877 meters and 8,848 meters with snow. There are world’s highest mountains including Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest 8848 m). Towering above the populated valleys and forested plains in which the lordly tigers and one–horn Rhinoceros is the home. Nepal has population of 23 million and the land area of 14, 7181 sq. km; Nepal is a small country compared to its neighbours but richest in terms of bio–diversity to its unique geographical, from tropical to alpine from an altiude of 58 m at Musharina, Janakpur above sea level to 8,848 m. This unique location and climate has ensured that Nepal has the best of both zoo-geograghical worlds – flora and fauna of the world.

The people of Nepal are a cosmopolitan group of many different ethnics group living in different regions with diver’s culture, languages and dialects. Nepal is divided in three regions i.e; Himalayan, Mountain and Terai region.

Himalayan Region:
This region accounts for about 15% of the total land area. The altilude of this region range between 4,877 m to 8,848 m. It includes eight of the 14 world highest summits which exceed an attitude of 8,000 m including Everest, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and others .This regions is inhabited by sherpas.

Mountain Region:
This region accounts for about 68% of the total land area. It’s formed by the Mahabharat range that soars up to 4,877m and the lower to churia range. This region is inhabited by Rai’s, Limbu’s and Magar’s.

Terai Region:
The low land Terai occupies about 17% of the total fertile land of the country where it is cultivated. This region is inhabited by mainly, Tharu’s and Yadavas.

The country has many ethnic groups and sub-groups who speak over 70 languages and dialects. By gifts of natures, Nepal offers an astonishing diversity of sightseeing attractions and adventure opportunities found no-where else on earth.

Since, Nepal has only 17% very ferltile land, it is intergrated in grade of poor country, but since it has magnificent geographical region, it is one of the richest country in natures.
